Placenotes is the creation of Kevin Keim, Director of the Charles W. Moore Center for the Study of Place in Austin, Texas. Charles W. Moore (1925-1993) was a world-renowned architect, educator, and writer. To carry on his work, the Moore Center was founded in 1994 to teach people about the importance of good places, design, and architecture.
