Our MissionThe mission of the Utilities and Energy Management Department is to use
innovation and technology to provide reliable and cost effective electricity,
chilled water, steam, deionized water, compressed air, emergency power
and elevators to support the tradition of teaching and research excellence
at the university. UT Austin Receives 2008 Texas Environmental Excellence Award
The 2008 Texas Environmental Excellence Awards (TEEA) ceremony was held on April 30, 2008. Dr. Pat Clubb, Vice President of Employee and Campus services, and Juan Ontiveros, Director of Utilities and Energy management, accepted the TEEA honors on behalf of The University of Texas at Austin in the "Large Business/Technical" category for UT's energy innovations.
