Logo

Both the UGS logo and your area’s logo must appear on everything distributed to an audience outside of Undergraduate Studies staff. You must show a proof of everything with any logos to UGS communications staff (Lara Harlan and/or Julia Ferguson) before printing.

How to Use

The word “logo” refers to the circle image and the text together (see below for examples). You must use the two together, as pictured below, as a single logo. You may use the circle element of the logo as a decorative element in a design, but this does not replace the logo: you must also use the full logo somewhere on the design.

What Not to Do

  • Do not separate the text from the circle
  • Do not use just the words or just the circle part of the logo
  • Do not change the size proportions of one part of the logo (i.e. resize the circle without resizing the text the same amount)
  • Do not move the circle and the text closer together or further apart

How to Ask for a File

In order for us to give you a logo that best suits your needs, email us with the following information. Please include a working copy of the piece you’d like it to appear on if possible.

  • On what will the logo appear (paper, on screen)?
  • How are you planning on printing the item (if applicable)?
  • Size: how many inches long will the logo be on the final product?
  • Background: dark, light, bright, patterned, photo?
  • Black & white or color?

The logos below are low-resolution, so they will not look good in print, or enlarged or reduced on screen. Please ask for a file that best suits your needs.
