Governance

The School of Undergraduate Studies is governed by the Undergraduate Studies Advisory Committee (UGSAC), which is composed of six associate deans, six senior faculty members, and two students.

UGSAC has delegated authority to other faculty committees to oversee certain programs. These include the Faculty Writing Committee, the Bridging Disciplines Programs Steering Committee, and the Longhorn Scholars Faculty Advisory Committee.

Student Governance

The Undergraduate Studies Council (UGSC) is the official representative student organization of the School of Undergraduate Studies, providing a platform for UGS students to explore leadership while planning and executing beneficial events and activities for fellow students.
