Clippings: Duren Hall Opening & César Chávez
Statue Unveiling
Two major events on campus distinguish the fall 2007
semester.
The
fall 2007 semester will be long-remembered for two outstanding
events on our campus: the opening of the Almetris
Duren Residence Hall
and the unveiling of the César Chávez statue on the West
Mall. These two events have distinguished this semester for our campus
and also for the Division of Student Affairs as a leader of diversity
and equal representation at the university.
Below are the electronic “press clippings” for both events.
