Staff Recognition Programs
UT Austin offers several programs for recognizing outstanding employee
performance and longevity.
Staff Service Award
Program
This program acknowledges the contributions of eligible non-teaching
employees to the continuing success of the University by recognizing
their length of service. A campus-wide program is sponsored by the University
to recognize these loyal and committed employees.
Staff Excellence and
Outstanding Supervisor Awards
This program honors and recognizes the invaluable contributions of
eligible non-teaching staff and supervisors who have had a significant
impact on the University. Thirty (30) staff members and two (2) supervisors
are selected annually to receive $1,500 awards.
Exemplary Service
Award
This program allows managers and supervisors to nominate eligible non-teaching
employees for up to thirty-two (32) hours of administrative leave per
fiscal year based on their performance of specific services or activities
that demonstrate truly exemplary performance.
