IBC Training

IBC Training: NIH Guidelines and UT Policies for Recombinant DNA and Biohazardous Research is required for all laboratory staff and researchers working with rDNA and biohazardous materials. Completion of the course is a requirement for the approval of new and continuing rDNA and biosafety protocols for rDNA and/or biohazardous material research.

If you would like to complete the course online, visit the Compliance Training System page [UT EID required.] The class lasts approximately one hour. To earn credit for the course, you will have to pass a short quiz after you view the training materials. This class will be listed as CW512 in your TXClass Training History.

To register for the classroom version of the course, log on to TXClass [UT EID required] and follow the "Class Listing" link in the navigation menu on the left. Search for the course abbreviation RC 301. To register for individual sections, follow the links on the course's date.
