PMCS Assisting Landmarks Art Program with Set up of Loaned sculptures
Many PMCS staff members are involved in the design of settings for works on loan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, including construction of wood and concrete pedestals, site work and signage. Articles about the loan program appeared in the New York Times, the Austin American-Statesman and the Daily Texan.

Construction HUB Forum, February 27
The Construction HUB Forum will be held at the Commons Center at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus, 10100 Burnet Rd., Austin. The Forum will present information on how to do construction-related business with PMCS as well as provide contractors and subcontractors the opportunity to network and to visit exhibits sponsored by local trade organizations, state agencies, UT System and general contractors. Registration begins at 2 p.m., followed by a one-hour panel presentation about working with PMCS and upcoming projects. Presenters and exhibitors will be available for answering questions and networking from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. For more information, contact Muriel Kruse, HUB Staff Associate, (512) 475-6856.

Window Replacements at McCombs School of Business
During the summer of 2007, PMCS began removing the clay tile masonry screen around the sixth floor exterior of the McCombs School of Business building. Read more about the window replacements.

Green Renovations at the Perry Casteneda Library
PMCS used environmentally friendly renovation practices to create the University Federal Credit Union Student Learning Commons, which opened August 31, 2007. Read more about the green renovations.

Fire Safety Renovations at the Texas Memorial Museum
PMCS added an exterior stairwell and enclosed an interior stairwell to bring this historic Paul Cret building up to fire code. Read more about the fire safety renovations.
