Profile
Employees can use
UT Direct to
update their Paycheck Profile information including: W-2 address,
check distribution, Direct Deposit bank information, and tax
withholding information.

Electronic
Earnings Statement
View your earnings statement online. You will receive email
notification when your earnings statement is available each
payday.

W-2's
Payroll Services offers W-2 forms on the web via UT Direct.
Employees can access their W-2 data at any time, and reprint the
forms if necessary.

Communication Device Allowance (CDA)
Departmental personnel can set up communication device allowance
(CDA) payments to employees whose job requirements warrant the use
of a cell phone or personal digital assistant. The CDA policy,
9.2.9 in the Handbook of Business Procedures, should be
reviewed before completing the
Communication Device Allowance Request.
After approval has been obtained, a one-time equipment allowance
and monthly supplemental allowances can be established using the
Communication Device Allowance system by authorized individuals.
CDA allowances will be paid to the employees on the first
semi-monthly pay period.
Payroll Services is responsible for:
- Producing and distributing payroll for over 22,000
employees

- Compiling and disseminating payroll deduction information and
other payroll activity reports to UT departments, state agencies
and outside vendors
- Producing monthly, hourly and special payment payrolls
- Promoting participation of direct deposit and electronic
earnings notification
- Tax reporting and compliance

- Withholding and remitting employment taxes to the Internal
Revenue Service
- Preparing and reporting year-end tax information including IRS
Forms W-2 and 1042S`
- Nonresident Alien tax status evaluation

- Adherence to nonresident employment
