Eligibility: Class “C” Permits
are issued to registered
students and those who
are auditing classes at
the University. These permits
are not available to students
who have purchased another type of permit, except a Class "M" motorcycle
permit, a "D" student
disabled permit, or a "N" Night
Horn permit.

How can I purchase a "C" permit?
Students may purchase a Class "C" permit
the first time they enter the registration
page. "C" permits may also be purchased
through the PTS online
web application.
Where can I park with a "C" permit?

Class "C" permit
holders may use the permit to park in the "C" lots
located east of IH35 or the "Longhorn
Lots" located east of IH35 near Disch-Falk
Field.
There is no parking
from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00
a.m. in "C" Lots, in
Lot 30 (west campus), or
in sections of "Longhorn
Lot" spaces in Lot 103, 104, and 117
at Disch-Falk
Field.
The "C" and "Longhorn Lots" may
be closed at the direction
of the Director of PTS for special event parking.
Parking on this campus is a very critical
commodity. There are about 14,100 spaces to
satisfy the multiple daily requirements for
the 70,000 staff, faculty, students, and visitors.
Therefore, to accommodate the maximum number
of customers we have tried to use spaces and
lots for multiple reasons.
In addition to the "C" permit, can I purchase another permit?
No. Parking resource are limited and individuals are
limited to a single permit, with the exception of
a "M" (motorcycle)
permit, or a "N" (Night
Horn Permit) or a "D"(disabled
student permit).
