"A" Class Permit

Our new online service MY PARKING PROFILE is the quickest way to determine what permits are available, purchase a permit, to pay citations, make an appeal, or update address or vehicle information. Permits cannot only be purchased but you can arrange to have them delivered to your campus address the following day. You can even print a temporary permit that can be used until yours arrives. My PARKING PROFILE is the online parking application that takes you out of the line at PTS.

General Parking FAQ

In addition to the "A" permit, can I purchase another permit?

No. Parking resource is limited and individuals are limited to a single permit, with the exception of an "M" (motorcycle) permit, or an "N" (Night Garage Access) or a "D" (Persons with Disabilities permit).

How can I purchase an "A" permit?

Apply on-line through UT Direct or apply in-person at the PTS Administration Office located in the Trinity Parking Garage at MLK and Trinity.

Where can I park with an "A" permit?

Class "A" permit holders may use the permit to park in the "A" lots located east of IH35 or the Longhorn Lots located east of IH35 near UFCU Disch-Falk Field.

The "A" and Longhorn Lots may be closed at the direction of the Director of PTS for special event parking. Parking on this campus is a very critical commodity. There are about 14,500 spaces to satisfy the multiple daily requirements for the 70,000 staff, faculty, students, and visitors. Therefore, to accommodate the maximum number of customers we have tried to use spaces and lots for multiple reasons.
