In preparation of the Experimental Science Building (ESB) construction project, the trees on the south side of ESB will be relocated to the gravel lot on the northeast corner of Speedway and 24th Street.  This will affect parking in the area and will eliminate parking in the gravel lot. The preparation for these trees in the gravel lot began on December 19th.  Therefore, this lot is currently unavailable for parking. The ESB construction project is scheduled for completion in the year 2011, therefore this lot will not be returned to parking in the foreseeable future.  The F15 and D spaces along 24th Street and a few at the corner of Speedway and 24th Street will be lost beginning on January 1st and the F15 and D spaces along University Ave behind Gearing Hall (GEA) will be lost beginning on January 7th through completion of the ESB project.  
 
To accommodate the loss of these spaces, additional F15 spaces were added in the following areas:

• Whitis Avenue between 24th Street and 25th Street (beginning Friday, January 18th)
• Speedway between the Pedestrian Zone and 24th Street (beginning Friday, January 18th)
  

Additional F26 spaces were added in the following area:

• San Jacinto

Additional D spaces were added in the following area:

• 24th Street between Whitis Avenue and Inner Campus Drive
