Our mission is to increase productive use of methodological, numerical, and statistical research techniques by research, instructional, and administrative groups at The University of Texas.

To accomplish this mission, we engage in the following activities:

  1. Providing free mathematical and statistical consulting for students, faculty, and staff through in-person appointments, telephone appointments, and e-mail.

  2. Offering indirect education and consulting through our web-based documentation and tutorials.

  3. Developing and delivering free short courses, many of which include hands-on experience with statistical and mathematical software.

  4. Expanding statistical and mathematical software availability through Windows terminal server access.

  5. Providing online survey services for university researchers and departments
