The University Co-op and the Graduate School have introduced a new award to recognize a graduate student of exceptional distinction. This student will be selected from among the twelve recipients of the four student awards and will receive an additional $10,000.
Criteria for selection include contribution to knowledge through research, teaching, and service, along with involvement in professional organizations and campus or community activities, and commitment to diversity.
If you would like your student nominee/applicant for the Outstanding Dissertation, Outstanding Thesis/Report, Livingston Employee, or Mitchell Research award to be considered for the Granof Outstanding Graduate Student Award, please complete the Outstanding Graduate Student nomination form (.pdf) (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or newer - download free Reader) and submit it along with your nomination package for the other award.
As with all of the Graduate School awards, the Michael H. Granof Outstanding Graduate Student award is very generously underwritten by the University Co-op.
