Public Policy Programs
An important part of the Office of Professional Development's
public service initiative is in the area of programming for state and
national public policy issues. These programs bring together public policy
experts, elected and appointed governmental leaders, and citizens to discuss
issues of state and national concern. These conferences include those
initiated by the LBJ School and those co-sponsored with prestigious national
organizations and institutions.
This office welcomes the opportunity to partner with
LBJ School faculty and/or professional organizations outside of the university
in designing, developing and delivering conferences on public policy of
interest to the academy and the public. For more information on these
