The Review of Litigation (TROL) is proud to announce the availability of Volumes 29 and 30 and the opportunity to order our upcoming Volume 31:1-4 (2011-2012).

TROL seeks to advance legal scholarship through feature articles, essays, and notes relevant to a national and international audience of legal scholars and practitioners. As the first journal devoted exclusively to the topics related to trial and appellate advocacy, TROL publishes papers on evidentiary, procedural, and substantive issues. TROL addresses the needs of both academia and the practicing attorney with a pragmatic examination of current litigation issues.

TROL’s recent articles include: “To Judge or Not to Judge: Transparency and Recusal in the Federal System,” by the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown; “Why Judicial Disqualification Matters. Again.,” by Charles Gardner Geyh; “In Praise of Procedurally Centered Judicial Disqualification,” by Jeffrey W. Stempel; “Attorney Speech and the Right to an Impartial Adjudicator,” by Margaret Tarkington.

Volume 31 will continue TROL’s commitment to publishing compelling legal literature and pieces with a practical flavor. It will include articles by William Dorsaneo & C. Paul Rogers, Howard Wasserman, Daphna Kapeliuk, Michael Stephan, Jon Reidy & Guha Krishnamurthi, Lori Roberts, Josiah Daniel, and Morris Ratner.

Volume 31's articles cover a broad array of timely subjects, discussing topics such as recent trends in class action and mass tort litigation, pleading standards, civil procedure and the Roberts Court, historical lawyering in election litigation, the collateral source rule in personal injury cases, elucidation of legal standards of proof, and arbitrator selection.

We believe you will find The Review of Litigation to be a valuable addition to your legal library.
