Before You Begin
Before you begin using Webmail you need to have:
- your UT EID and password
- a valid e-mail account with service that supports an IMAP server.
NOTE: IMAP servers at the university include:
- Basic (UMBS) E-mail
- Premium UT (Exchange) E-mail
- Unix Timesharing Service (UTS, CCWF)
- Department Servers (Check with your individual school)
Check with your departmental support staff or call the ITS Help Desk at 475-9400 if you have questions about your server. For off-campus mail servers, contact that server's administrator.
- Go to the Webmail Web site.
- Log into UT Direct with your EID and password to display the Webmail Login screen.
- Select either the Express Login form for quick and easy access to a university-wide mail server or the Custom Login form to access a departmental account or off-campus mail server that is not available in the Express Login.
