Before You Begin

Before you begin using Webmail you need to have:

• your UT EID and password
• a valid e-mail account with service that supports an IMAP server.

NOTE: IMAP servers at the university include:

• Basic (UMBS) E-mail
• Premium UT (Exchange) E-mail
• Unix Timesharing Service (UTS, CCWF)
• Department Servers (Check with your individual school)

Check with your departmental support staff or call the ITS Help Desk at 475-9400 if you have questions about your server. For off-campus mail servers, contact that server's administrator.

1. Go to the Webmail Web site.
2. Log into UT Direct with your EID and password to display the Webmail Login screen.



3. Select either the Express Login form for quick and easy access to a university-wide mail server or the Custom Login form to access a departmental account or off-campus mail server that is not available in the Express Login.
