Entourage: Searching Address Books for Certificates
The university has set up two ways that you can easily find the public certificates for faculty and staff. This will let you send them encrypted information without requiring them to first send you a signed message.
- Operating System: Macintosh OS X
- Application: Entourage
- Open Entourage.
- From the Entourage menu, select Account settings.
- Select Directory Service and select New.
- In the Account name field, enter a descriptive account name.
- In the LDAP server field, enter "ldap.utexas.edu" (or the name of your LDAP server, if different).
- Click OK.
