Is my computer on Austin Active Directory?

To determine if your computer is on Austin Active Directory:

  1. Select the Start menu, then click Run.
  2. Enter sysdm.cpl and click OK.
  3. Select the Computer Name tab.
    • If you see a Domain field, and the domain is austin.utexas.edu, your computer is on Austin Active Directory.
    • If you see a Domain field but the domain is NOT austin.utexas.edu, your computer is on another Active Directory.
    • If you see a Workgroup field, you are NOT on an Active Directory.
