TN3270 Client Evaluation Summary
There are a number of TN3270 terminal emulators. Any TN3270 client will work with the OpenConnect Security Module (OCSM), which is required to connect to the UT Austin Adminstrative Computing System. To help you choose among these clients, ITS has conducted tests on several of them and provided rankings based primarily on the presence of essential functions. Detailed product and purchasing information for each client is available from the links below.
Brown's tn3270 and DOtn3270ae are still available (for Mac and PC respectively) free of charge.
