Licensing
License Period
Timbuktu is a paid license; however, in order to access maintenance support and purchase upgrades, you must renew in the program each Fiscal Year (September 1 through August 31 of the following year). License costs are not pro-rated. The license cost remains the same regardless of when you join the program. Renewal notices are automatically sent to current program participants each year.
License Details
You must purchase a license for each endpoint that will be running the software. For example, if you are accessing your work computer from home, then you must have a license for both your home and work computers. You must have at least two (2) licenses at any given time.
NOTE: License fees do not include installation media.
Updates and Upgrades
In general, updates/upgrades are available to currently registered users for the cost of duplication and media. ITS will send announcements to current users whenever a new version is available through ITS.
Current program participants can upgrade to these new versions for the cost of media alone. Please see the Overview tab for more information.
