Current Version
- The current distribution version of SPSS for Windows is 16.0. The UT Austin license agreement with SPSS Inc. for Windows only supports v14 and later.
- The current distribution version of SPSS for Macintosh is 16.0.
- To download patches for SPSS, visit http://support.spss.com, select Login to Online Tech Support, then enter your user name and password (your user name and password can be found at http://support.spss.com/password.html). You can also login to the SPSS Tech Support Site as a guest, using Guest as your ID and password.
How to Buy
This software can be purchased from SDS through our secure online store, TXShop. If you do not already have one, you must get a UT EID in order to use our online store.
Graduate students enrolled at UT Austin can also check with the UT Austin Campus Computer Store for availability of a four-year licensed version of SPSS. This version available through the store is a boxed copy and allows you to use the software for four years without having to renew license fees annually. It does not, however, entitle you to upgrades, and is only available with SPSS Base plus Advanced and Regression Modules. Please see the Campus Computer Store for pricing and availability.
Please note that licenses (the legal right to use the software) and media (CD-ROMs) are sold separately. Please refer to the product description(s) of the items that you are purchasing to determine which installation media you need to purchase.
