Overview
SAS 9.2 has been released, however, various components of SAS 9.2 will be made available in three phases. SAS 9.2 Phase 1 was made available during the SAS Global Forum in San Antonio on March 11, 2008. SAS 9.2 Phase 2 will be available in the third quarter of 2008. SAS 9. 2 Phase 3 will be available at the end of 2008 and throughout early 2009. Our license structure, SAS Education Analytic Suite, is one of the products scheduled to be released in Phase 2. SAS statistical software provides a powerful tool to analyze, manage, view, and even present complex data in a variety of formats. Applications of the SAS System include executive information systems; data entry, retrieval, and management; report writing and graphics; statistical and mathematical analysis; operations research and project management; statistical quality improvement; computer performance evaluation; and applications development. Cost and Eligibility
SAS is available to students, faculty, staff, and departments at The University of Texas at Austin, as well as other institutions in The University of Texas System.
Note: SDS no longer offers SAS for Macintosh or IBM/OS2.
