UT System IBM Customer Agreement

Licensing

The IBM Customer Agreement (ICA) allows the University of Texas System to purchase machines, software, and services from IBM Corporation without need to negotiate terms and conditions for each purchase. The ICA includes terms and conditions that apply to any future purchases in addition to (or instead of) all or most of the standard terms and conditions for the product or service you are purchasing. For a list terms and conditions for specific IBM products and services, please visit http://www-306.ibm.com/software/sla/sladb.nsf.

The current ICA contract is in place for five years from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2009, with an option to renew for an additional five years (through 2014).

The ICA is NOT a licensing or purchasing agreement that either provides site licenses or outlines any specific discount or purchasing provisions. Execution of this agreement is required for UT System departments to purchase products from IBM.
