Dell Blanket Purchase Order
Overview

This program provides an online catalog, current product information, Dell pricing, configuration capabilities, product specifications, the ability to check order status, UT Austin current pricing and invoice/billing information.
Cost and Eligibility
UT Departments ONLY. Student, staff and faculty personal purchasing is not currently available.
Pricing
- Pricing information is available on the UT Austin Dell site (See Purchasing tab)
- Contracted prices shown by Dell include our discount from
list price. There is a specific percentage discount on all Optiplex,
Latitude, Workstation, and PowerEdge server equipment configured
using the configuration capabilities. Discounts are built into
the configurator. These discounts apply only to non-bundled
equipment.
- Bundled Configurations are quoted for one Dell system. Components
within the bundled configurations cannot be downgraded or deleted,
however options can be added. Bundled Configurations are
deeply discounted.
- Additional tiered pricing discounts apply and vary with product purchased. Please refer to Dell Web site or purchase order.

Software Installation
- Factory Installation of ReadyWare applications: Minimum 25 units.
- Factory Installation of Custom Software Image developed by
UT Austin and Dell (does not include cost of
application or licenses). - Factory Installation of Microsoft Office Premium available for a fee
Hardware Installation
- Factory Installation of Dell's standard Pre-tested components.
- Factory Installation of non-standard custom components (DellPlus): Minimum 25 units.
Assembly
ISO 9002 registered manufacture and assembly process.
Configuration
ISO 9002 registered standard configuration process.
