Position Description
Title: Help Desk Consulant
Appointment: 19 hours a week
Salary: Starting at $9.25 per hour
Hours: Be available for shift work
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Job Description
- Provide technical support over the phone, via e-mail, and in person to members of the university community who contact our inbound customer service center.
- Work as part of a customer-focused team of primarily student employees.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate with 6 months of experience in data processing, computing, or programming-related fields.
- Active student status at a higher education institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Very strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP applications in the Windows, Macintosh, or Unix environments.
