“Unable to convert IP address to hostname”
If the encryption client attempts to sync with the server when the operating system first loads, you may see a message in the SafeBoot Client Status window that states “Unable to convert IP address to hostname.”
This message is generated if the encryption client attempts to sync immediately when Windows is booted but there is not yet a network connection available for it to use. If you are using a network connection that is not immediately available, such as a wireless connection, the client cannot communicate with the server at that time. Once you have established a connection to your wireless network, your computer should be able to sync successfully.
