Enterprise Whole Disk Encryption

Checking that your computer is protected

To confirm that the encryption client is protecting your machine, you must verify two things:

  1. When you first start your computer, you should be prompted to sign into SafeBoot before Windows starts on your computer.
  2. Right-click the SafeBoot system tray icon and select Show Status. In the SafeBoot Client Status window, you should see an Encryption heading that lists all the Hard Drive letters on your computer and their associated Encryption status. Any drives labeled as “Full” are currently being protected.

Unless both of these are present, your computer is NOT protected. If you have the client installed but you determined that your machine is not protected, contact your administrator.
