About the Position
The ITS Server Technical Support team is looking for a Picture Perfect Administrator to assist in the support of IBM pSeries servers running Picture Perfect (PP) on AIX.
You will work as part of a dynamic team in supporting building security systems used by the entire campus. You will share responsibility with other team members for performing routine system administration functions, including OS tuning, system upgrades, performance monitoring, security monitoring, and monitoring of critical network and systems architecture. You will also help plan and integrate a forthcoming upgrade to the latest version of Picture Perfect on new IBM pSeries systems.

Areas for which this position is responsible
- Administering server hardware, operating systems, applications, and security for mission-critical building security systems.
- Evaluating, recommending, planning, implementing, and documenting enhancements to productions systems and internal ITS resources.
People previously successful in this position have had
- Proficient knowledge with AIX, Linux, and Informix databases.
- Experience with Picture Perfect and Andover Controls Infinity software.
- Experience with Web services using Apache/Tomcat on private and DMZ networks.
- Experience providing technical support to end users.
