Office of Corporate Relations

The Office of Corporate Relations, part of the Development Office, facilitates mutually beneficial partnerships between corporations and the University’s programs, students, and faculty. It is the one-stop shop linking corporate interests and priorities with the resources of The University of Texas at Austin.

Matching Gifts

More than a thousand companies match the charitable contributions of their employees, as well as spouses of employees and retired employees. These matches may be dollar-for-dollar or greater. UT Student Organizations

UT Austin boasts more than 900 registered student organizations; the Student Organization Database is the best way to research student organizations and their opportunities for sponsorship and involvement.

  • Funding from the state provides only 17% of UT Austin’s total budget, a significant drop from the state’s contribution of 47% in 1985.

  • Businesses made 8,275 financial contributions to UT last year, bringing corporate philanthropic investment in 2007-08 to more than $61 million.
