Ambassador of India Examines Security Council Reform

The International Speakers Association presents a talk with Nirupam Sen, permanent Ambassador of India to the United Nations, who will discuss Security Council reform in the United Nations. The discussion will also explore the Indian perception of the Security Council.

Sen joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1969, and has held diplomatic positions in Budapest, London, Moscow, Sofia, Bulgaria and Oslo, Norway. He also served as deputy secretary-in-charge of East Europe and the Americas and joint secretary in India's Ministry of External Affairs. He holds a masters degree in history from Delhi University.

International Speakers Association is a newly formed student organization that strives to bring in global leaders to speak on diverse issues.
