The Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law invites you to "The Global Semiconductor Industry: A Discussion" with Morris Chang, chairman of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) 5:30 p.m. Sept. 9 in the LBJ Library Brown Room, 10th Floor. Refreshments will be served.
Chang is the founding chairman of TSMC, which pioneered the "dedicated silicon foundry" business model. He was a powerful force in building both the foundry industry and the semiconductor industry. Chang was president and COO of General Instrument Corp. and served as group vice president at Texas Instruments.
