From archery to weight training, there's something for everyone at Recreational Sports (RecSports).
RecSports manages eight facilities on and off campus. These facilities include more than 500,000 square feet of indoor and 40 acres of outdoor activity space. Open more than 1,700 hours each week, the facilities are supervised by a student staff of about 250.
In addition to serving as sites for RecSports activities, the facilities are reserved annually for more than 230 different campus organizations, accounting for more than 5,000 individual reservations.
Enrolled students don't need a membership to access RecSports. RecSports offers memberships to faculty and staff, retired faculty and staff, Texas Exes, community members (limited quantities) and students not currently enrolled.
There are also short-term guest and visitor passes. Check out memberships and lockers for more information.
Bleed Orange
One of the things that makes life at The University of Texas at Austin so exciting is the large number of sporting events taking place year-round. From football games at the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium to baseball and basketball games, cheering on the Horns is part of the Texas experience.
Want to see the Horns in action? The Longhorn All-Sports Package (LASP) is the most economical way for students to purchase tickets to all regular season home sports events.
For one low price you get access to tickets, the opportunity to set up group seating and the chance to purchase additional tickets for your friends and guests who are not UT students.
Visit TexasSports.com for more information about LASP and university sports.
