Enterprise Core Resources Program (ENCORE)In April 2007, the Core Application Strategy for the Enterprise (CASE) project wrapped up after achieving its two-fold purpose of comparatively analyzing UT Austin Administrative and Student IT systems, environment, dependencies, and strengths with major off-the-shelf ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software packages and recommending a 5-10 year strategy to optimally posture the university's future administrative systems. Shortly after the release of the strategic plan, the CASE project came to a close and an ongoing program was established named ENCORE (ENterprise COre REsources). The primary focus of this program is to make the ENCORE strategic plan a reality. While the planning for ENCORE is occurring, a number of projects and initiatives are underway to specifically address key elements of the ENCORE strategic plan. The ENCORE steering committee will periodically update you on progress made towards the strategic plan. For more information, see the Strategic Plan Overview and the Comparative Analysis Executive Summary.* ENCORE ProjectsHuman Resource Management System (HRMS) Project (formerly Position Management) The Human Resource Management System project will provide university personnel at all levels with an administrative system and business processes for simplified and efficient processing of transactions associated with the university workforce.
