Inventory Services Will Be Changing Customer Service Hours Effective Tuesday, May 13

The new customer service hours for Inventory Services are:

10 a.m.-noon, and
2-4 p.m.
Monday-Friday

We will continue to provide scanner customer service. Please see below for scanner protocol and hours:

Returning the Scanner:
If you have completed your inventory and only need to return your scanner, you may drop it off at the front desk in Main 132 between the hours of 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30- 4:30 p.m.. Please make sure that you have included the contact information and what you need done. Then, we can notify you once the scanner data has been downloaded, and you can run your NVP report. Please do not drop off the scanner if you need the scanner back shortly after. You must make an appointment if you need the scanner back (see Partial Uploading of Data instructions below for more information).

Partial Uploading of Data:
Uploads of scanned data will be handled by appointment only, so please schedule a time to bring your scanner by. Please do not visit our office unexpectedly since we are limited in staff, and need to ensure that someone is available to do the upload. If you drop by without an appointment, you may waste a trip if no one is available to assist you. To make an appointment, please e-mail scanhelp@austin.utexas.edu.
