*DEFINE Status -1143 Errors

The Office of Accounting helpline has received numerous reports of 1143 errors on the YB2 screen in *DEFINE. 

This error can be resolved as follows:

Obtain Document ID numbers for the problem documents using your electronic inbox in UT Direct: https://utdirect.utexas.edu/edoc/inbox.WBX . Documents designated with ** by the creator name or documents in R (Returned) status should be deleted and recreated in *DEFINE. After these documents have been deleted, your YB2 screen should return to functionality. If this maneuver does not resolve your problem, please call 471-8802 to report and receive further support and information.
