SHORT DEFINITION: The percentage of graduates who attempt the respective licensing examination who pass all parts (where applicable) within 12 months of graduation or any required internship.
PURPOSE/ IMPORTANCE:  A high percentage of passing grades on the licensure examination indicates the effectiveness of the academic program of preparation for practice in the profession.

PURPOSE/ IMPORTANCE:  A high percentage of completion rates indicates that legitimate students are enrolled, and they are persistent in their coursework and making adequate progress toward graduation.

First-time is defined as students who enter as first-time freshmen during the summer session and continue as full-time freshmen during the following fall semester, as well as new fall entrants.
