CLEP Open Test Center at UT AustinThe College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Open Test Center at UT Austin is open to the public. Anyone who wishes to take a CLEP test is welcome to register to take test(s) at our Computer Based Testing Center and have their test scores reported to the institution of their choice. As of July 2001, CLEP has been offered exclusively by computer. For specific test information, refer to the College Board web site. In most cases, you should receive an unofficial score report at the end of your test session. CLEP Policies vary from college to college. Before you register for a CLEP exam, learn which exams your college uses to award credit. UT Austin accepts eight CLEP exams for credit. For admission to the test TWO forms of ID are required. TEST FEESThere are two separate fees required for CLEP exams:
TEST SCHEDULETesting will be offered monthly on the UT Austin campus every second Tuesday except holidays. We cannot accept registration more than one month in advance of a test date. is accepted up to twenty-four hours prior to the test, and can also
be completed in person by visiting the DIIA-Student Testing Services
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Seating is limited. Seats are only guaranteed after registration is
complete.
