Many faculty on the UT Austin campus have discovered the advantages of this program to use and build the skills of technology-literate students to develop and implement instructional projects. Students are paid for their work, and at the same time develop portfolios to enhance their value in the workplace.

Innovative Instructional Technology Awards Program — IITAP
Sponsored by the Office of the Provost and DIIA, this annual awards program showcases the university's exemplars in instructional innovation. The IITAP program recognizes faculty achievements in developing and using technology that makes teaching and learning more effective, relevant, and efficient.
