DIIA's multimedia lab at the Center for Instructional Technologies is host to a series of one- to three-hour hands-on workshops and seminars on a variety of topics: how to use Blackboard and eGradebook, managing and developing multimedia projects, developing an online community, using PowerPoint, and more.
Computer Technology Seminars for Faculty
Information Technology Services (ITS) twice a year plans a series of hands-on
sessions for instructors that cover the fundamentals of computer security,
electronic reserves and digital library resources, Web publishing, and
graphics and multimedia applications. Classes are taught by instructors
from ITS Training, the Center for Instructional Technologies, and General
Libraries. The sessions are scheduled in conjunction with the New Faculty
Teaching/ Orientation Seminar and the Experienced Faculty Teaching Seminar.
